    • Name, professional and personal email addresses, personal or mobile phone number, NRIC or FIN number, photograph, residential/mailing address, curriculum vitae, educational/professional certificates and referral contact details
  • Employees:
    • Name, professional and personal email address, personal or mobile phone number, NRIC or FIN number, passport number, marriage/birth certificate, date of birth of employee and family member(s), nationality, photograph or video image, residential address and telephone number, bank account information, tax identification number, utility bills, driver’s license, e-signature, emergency contact information, curriculum vitae, educational certificates, IP address, machine hostname

How Do We Collect Your Data?

You directly provide the Clermont Group with most of the data that we collect. We collect data that you voluntarily provide via telephone, email, post and in person.

The Clermont Group may also receive your data indirectly from the following sources:

  • Professional online platforms and networking websites
  • Publicly disclosed information

How Will We Use Your Data?

The Clermont Group collects your data so that we may:

  • Conduct and settle customary business transactions
  • Respond to third party KYC and information requests by regulatory bodies and financial institutions
  • Undertake identification verification checks
  • Comply with our obligations arising from or in respect of enforcing any contracts entered into between you and us

The Clermont Group may also share your data with related companies within the Clermont Group; provided, that this will be done in accordance with relevant regulations and that appropriate security measures are provided. We will not lend or sell your information to third parties.

How Do We Store Your Data?

The Clermont Group takes appropriate security measures (including physical, electronic and procedural measures) to help protect the confidentiality, integrity and availability of your personal information from unauthorised access, use and disclosure. The Clermont Group retains your data as long as the purpose for which the personal data was collected continues to be valid and in line with regulatory requirements and applicable statutes of limitations. We cease to retain or anonymise your personal data when it is no longer necessary for any business or legal purposes. Any retention beyond such period is subject to your express consent.

The Clermont Group would like to ensure that you are fully aware of your data protection rights.

  • The Right to Access – Subject to certain limitations, you have the right to request the Clermont Group for copies of your personal data. We may charge you a small fee for this service in such case that requests are repetitive or excessive.

  • The Right to Rectification - You have the right to request that the Clermont Group corrects any information that you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request that we complete information that you believe is incomplete.

  • The Right to Erasure - You have the right to request that the Clermont Group erase your personal data, under certain conditions. Where we rely on your consent to use your personal data, you have the right to withdrawal that consent at any time.

  • The Right to Restrict or to Object to Processing - You have the right to request that the Clermont Group restricts the processing of your personal data or to object to our processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.

  • The Right to Data Portability - You have the right to request that the Clermont Group transfers the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.

If you make a request, we may ask you to provide some additional information in order to verify your identity, such as your name, address and proof of identity. We will endeavor to respond to your request without delay and at the latest within one month of receipt. We may extend the period of compliance by a further reasonable period where requests are numerous or complex. In such instances, we will inform you within one month of the receipt of the request and explain why the extension is necessary.
